WHERE IT BEGINS

We’re excited to introduce the next stages of the Moreton Health Club renovations, featuring a complete redesign of our ground floor changing rooms. These upgrades have been carefully planned to elevate comfort, functionality, and style - creating a modern, calm, and premium space for every member.

A FRESH MODERN DESIGN

Our new changing rooms feature a clean, sleek aesthetic with carefully selected finishes that reflect the Moreton Health Club brand. Expect warm, modern tones, feature tiles, and refined lighting that create a welcoming and relaxing environment before and after your swim.

UPGRADED SHOWERS & CUBICALS

Our shower and cubicle areas are being redesigned into separate, well-defined zones for privacy and ease of use.

Improvements include:

Feature tiled shower walls
Modern chrome sanitaryware
Internal hooks and practical storage
Improved lighting and ceiling finishes

These updates ensure a clean, functional, and comfortable space that feels more like a boutique wellness facility.

LOCKERS, VANITY & SEATING

We’re upgrading all locker and vanity areas to improve both usability and comfort.

The new layout includes:

Contemporary, streamlined lockers
Enhanced vanity spaces with premium finishes
Comfortable bench seating and stools

Every element has been chosen to support a smooth, stress-free experience, whether you’re arriving for a workout or winding down afterwards.

DESIGNED WITH MEMBERS IN MIND

The renovation includes female, male, and family changing rooms, as well as accessible facilities. Clear circulation, improved layouts, and direct access to pool and gym areas make moving through the space easier and more intuitive for all members.

Every design choice—materials, lighting, layout, and flow has been guided by how our members actually use the space. The result is a changing room experience that feels welcoming.

WHEN WILL THIS HAPPEN?

The work is due to commence Thursday 12th Feburary.

WHY ARE THE CHANGING ROOMS BEING REFURBISHED?

We are completing a full refurbishment to significantly improve comfort, cleanliness, layout

and overall experience. This is a major investment into your facilities.

ARE THE DOWNSTAIRS CHANGING ROOMS OPEN?

No - the downstairs changing rooms are temporarily closed while works take place.

CAN I STILL USE THE POOL?

Yes, the pool remains fully open throughout the refurbishment.

WHAT SHOULD I DO INSTEAD OF USING THE CHANGING

ROOMS?

We kindly ask members to:

Arrive beach ready (swimwear under clothes where possible)

Bring minimal belongings

Leave belongings poolside during your swim

WHAT SHOULD I DO INSTEAD OF USING THE CHANGING

ROOMS?

Yes - the men’s and ladies’ upstairs changing rooms have temporarily swapped. Reception

staff will guide you if needed.

WHICH ROUTE SHOULD I USE TO ACCESS THE POOL?

Where possible, enter the pool via the decking and exit via the stairs.

Aqua ladies: outside route or stairs.

Swim lesson parents: drop-off at the double doors on decking, collection at

bottom of stairs (do not block door or stairway)

Anyone going down the stairs has right of way for safety

WHAT IF IM UNSURE OR NEED HELP?

Please speak to reception or any team member, we are happy to assist, especially for elderly

members and aqua attendees.

HOW LONG WILL THIS LAST?

We are projecting for the works to be 12 weeks but we will keep you updated as we go.

WILL IT BE WORTH THE INCONVENIENCE?

Absolutely. The aim is to deliver changing rooms that are fresher, more comfortable, more

practical and better suited to our community.

POOL ACCESS DURING RENOVATONS

Thank you for your patience whilst the downstairs changing rooms are renovated. Where possible, enter the pool via the decking and exit via the stairs.
Please follow the guidance below to help swim lessons run smoothly and safely for everyone.
These access points will also apply to normal use and aqua lessons however we ask members to come beach ready and be mindful of the usage of our remaining facilities.
