IMG_1047_edited.jpg

This facility will stop being heated at the end of September. We will endeavour to keep the pool open through October - weather permitting.

SWIMMING POOL RULES

There are no designated life guards on duty, so each responsible adult/ parent/guardian is responsible for the supervision of their own children & others around you.

  • For your safety and wellbeing, we strongly advise that you never swim alone. Swimming without another person present greatly increases the risk of accidents or medical emergencies, as there may be no one available to assist or raise the alarm. Always ensure another responsible adult is nearby when you are using the pool. If at any point you feel unwell, dizzy, or unsafe while swimming, leave the water immediately and seek help. In the event of an emergency, please use the panic button located by the pool to alert on-site staff straight away.

  • If you have a medical condition, such as heart issues, epilepsy, or any condition that could affect your safety, you must inform a member of staff at reception before entering the pool. This allows staff to be aware of any potential risks, offer guidance or support if needed, and take the necessary precautions to maintain a safe swimming environment. Failure to disclose a relevant medical condition may increase your personal risk and limit the club’s ability to assist effectively in an emergency. Following these safety guidelines helps us protect all members and ensure everyone enjoys a safe, relaxing experience at the pool.

  • For your safety, all members and guests must immediately evacuate the pool area when instructed by staff or upon hearing the emergency or fire alarm.
In the event of thunder or lightning, all swimmers must leave the outdoor pool straight away and remain out of the water until staff confirm it is safe to return.

  • Any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult when using the pool.

  • Children under the age of 5 years old must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult aged 18 or over on a 1 adult to 1 child basis.

  • Children between the ages of 5 years and 8 years inclusive must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult aged 18 years or over on at least a 1 adult to 2 children basis.

  • Children over the age of 8 years must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult aged 18 years or over on at least a 1 adult to 12 children basis.

  • Adults over the age of 18 years old are only permitted to use the steam & sauna room area.

  • Photographs and videos - You may take photographs and video recordings in your club for your own personal use provided that you keep to these rules and any extra rules displayed at your club.  You must not take photographs or videos of any children under 18 other than your own. Anyone who appears in your photographs or videos must be aware that you are filming them and you must get their permission first. You must not take photographs or video recordings in a changing area, pool, sauna, steam room, toilet facilities. If another member is unhappy that you are filming them and makes a complaint to us, we may ask you to show us any images which you have taken in the club and to delete them if appropriate. If a member of our team asks you to stop filming or taking photographs you must do so. Moreton Hall staff from time to time will take photos and videos for social media purposes, they will request permission if you are due to be in the footage before filming.
