Squash is back! England moves to Step 3 of the COVID Spring Recovery plan meaning you can play full court squash with different households. This means you can play multiple households without having to form a squash bubble or play modified versions of the game.
Adults and juniors from different households can play full court squash – e.g best of five games with tie breaks, and singles and doubles.
Up to four adults or juniors can get on court at any time allowing for doubles.
We have some very exciting Squash news to share with you....
Emma Bartley has officially joined the PSA, the professional squash association . At the age of 15 she will be one of the youngest members but it will give her invaluable insight into the adult professional tour and allow her to start her journey into professional sport. Emma is hoping to play her first satellite tournaments before the end of the year and once she does she will obtain a world ranking.
We are very excited for the year ahead and would like to especially thank Alan Boyden - AJN Steelstock and Paul Devine - Peyton Plaice Ltd (both moreton hall squash members) and also the club itself for all the opportunities it has given Emma.
Look out for this t-shirt being worn on the squash courts.
Thanks again to Alan and Paul
