Covid Update

Moreton Hall | Latest Covid Update: 2021

Fantastic news!  We’re back!  It’s time for everyone to dust off that gym kit and start rebuilding the nation’s health & fitness!  If you are not currently a member then now is time to get started today.

We continue to work hard behind the scenes to ensure we can provide the best and safest experience possible at Moreton Hall Health Club.

We'll continue to provide our members with exercise content that they can use in gym, outside or at home. We want to help people stay as fit and healthy as possible during these unprecedented times. We’ll be doing regular updates on our Facebook and Instagram pages so make sure you follow us.

HOUSEKEEPING

-All gym/swim sessions must be booked online

-Members are asked to come to the club gym/swim ready and avoid using the changing rooms

-Please follow the one-way system in and out of the club

-Do not exit the club by the front door - please use the other available exits

-Masks must be worn at all times except when exercising

-The club bar will only be serving alcohol for consumption outdoors

-The “rule of six” returns with people from up to 6 households allowed to meet outside.

-The tennis courts are open and although our outdoor pool will be available for use, it will not be heated until May 1st, as normal.

-Squash must either be solo practice or members from the same household - no 'bubbles' allowed

- Our exercise & aqua classes are currently paused due to Govt restrictions. Online classes will still be available.

Further easing of the rules will come in the third stage on May 17, when people will be allowed to mix indoors again. Saunas and steam rooms will also reopen in stage three.

Our #CovidSafe Commitment
Your wellbeing is our highest priority. As part of our #CovidSafe commitment, we have introduced several cleaning, hygiene, and social distancing measures to keep you safe.

1. Let's #KeepItClean - Cleaning & Hygiene

We have increased cleaning measures throughout the gym and our teams will assist you as and when you need it.
We are working hard to ensure that our equipment and facilities are kept spotless at all times.

2. Do your best, save the NHS - Cleaning & Hygiene.

We would really appreciate your help with wiping down your equipment once you have used it.
You'll find sanitising spray and paper towels available for you to use at our Cleaning Stations.

3. #WashThoseHands - Cleaning & Hygiene

We have a hand sanitiser dispenser ready for you to use once you enter the gym and as you leave.
While you work out with us, please wash your hands regularly with soap and water.

4. That's #CloseEnough - Social Distancing

We're definitely a friendly bunch here but always do your best to maintain a safe gap between you and other members as you move around the gym, while you work out, and when you use the changing rooms.
Some equipment has been taken out of action and we've installed floor markers, all to help you socially distance safely.
No high fives allowed but a simple "Hello! How are you doing?" goes down very well.

5. Great Things Come To Those Who Wait - We're #OneClub

Please can we ask that you are patient with your gym team and other members, particularly where we need to maintain social distancing to keep everyone safe. If you're not happy with anything then let a member of the gym team know. Remember, it's been tough for everyone recently, so let's look after each other as best we can.
